Frequently asked questions
How do I compress an image to 50 KB?
Enter 50 in “Target file size” and choose JPG. The tool lowers the quality (and size if needed) until it fits.
Can I resize many images at once?
Yes. Add several files and download them together as a ZIP.
Why can PNG not reach my target size?
PNG is lossless and cannot be compressed to a target. Choose JPG or WebP instead.
Does resizing reduce quality?
Making an image smaller always loses some detail. Keep the original file as a backup.
